Gemstone Properties

Here at Sophie-May Designs I use a range of gemstones within my designs. Each gemstone has it's own unique properties. Below are a list of the gemstones and their properties.

Amazonite:
Amazonite comes in a range of shades of green with white veins running through the stone.
It is believed that amazonite has healing powers that help with physical ailments, emotional issues as well as filtering out stresses, healing traumas and soothing energies.

    Amethyst:
    Amethyst comes in a range of colours including purple, pink, green and yellow.
    It is believed that Amethyst naturally relieves stress and strain, soothes irritability and balances mood swings, dispels anger, rage, fear and anxiety. Alleviates sadness and grief, and dissolves negativity.

      Carnelian:
      Carnelian comes in shades of orangey/red.
      It is believed that Carnelian restores motivation and stimulates creativity and sharpens concentration.

        Labradorite:
        Labradorite comes in a range of colours including grey-white with iridescent flashes of blue or gold, pale green and blue.
        It is believed that Labradorite removes fears and insecurities and strengthens self-belief. It helps stimulate the imagination and stimulates new ideas.
          Pink Opal
          As it's name suggests, pink opal is soft pink in colour. 
          It is believed that Pink Opal heals emotions, allowing our hearts to open to love. Pink Opal is known as the stone of 'Resolution' as it is believed that it heals our emotional wound s and deep hidden fears. 
            Rainbow Moonstone
            Rainbow moonstone is a clear-white stone that reflects a rainbow shimmer when it catches the light.
            It is believed that the Moonstone gemstone symbolises new beginnings, is a stone of inner growth and strength. It soothes emotional instability and stress, and stabilises the emotions, providing calmness. It is also believed that Moonstone enhances intuition, promotes inspiration, success and good fortune in love and business matters.
